Te. Rodgers Skipper is a retired professional whose career spans military and federal service, business ownership, and community development. His experience connects strategic leadership with a practical commitment to housing opportunities, financial stability, and community partnerships.

Beginning in 2012, Skipper served as an entrepreneur, investor, and board member with Greater Dayton Holding Companies of Florida Inc. His work included strategic business planning, operating priorities, and financial sustainability, alongside partners across business, government, finance, and the nonprofit sector.

His community development work included support for affordable housing, homeownership initiatives, and programs intended to help low- and moderate-income families build assets. He also advocated for homeless veterans, coordinating with veterans services departments, government agencies, and nonprofit housing organizations in Ohio and Florida.

Previously, Skipper held community services leadership roles with Skipper and Associates Realty and Construction Inc., strengthening relationships across real estate, construction, mortgage services, and government housing programs. His experience also included community-focused work with Today’s Community Trust Foundation Inc.

His U.S. Army and federal service background included communications engineering, national security support services, and contracts acquisition support. Alongside his public service and community work, he owned and co-managed family hospitality ventures in Virginia Beach, Tampa, and Clearwater.

Across these roles, Skipper’s work reflected a sustained focus on building relationships, developing opportunities, and connecting people and organizations around shared community priorities.
